 POP The BBC has dropped a performance  
 by the group T-Spoon of their single   
 Sex on the Beach from the Friday       
 evening edition of Top of the Pops     
 because of the song's raunchy lyrics.  
                                        
 EMI Music company EMI has pulled out of
 making a bid for PolyGram, the company 
 behind hit films such as Trainspotting 
 and Bean - The Ultimate Disaster Movie.
                                        
 RELEASE Three more IRA prisoners have  
 been freed from the Maze prison in Co  
 Antrim under the Good Friday Agreement.
 A loyalist prisoner was also let out of
 Magilligan jail in Co Londonderry.
