 "MUMS AND GRANNIES" TO FIGHT TERROR WAR
 Northern Ireland Secretary Mo Mowlam   
 has called on all "mums and grannies"  
 to root out the remaining terrorists.  
                                        
 Only when the community turned its back
 on them and refused to hide them would 
 they be beaten, she said.              
                                        
 There were 100 to 300 terrorists left  
 in Northern Ireland and they must not  
 be allowed to ruin the peace 99.9% of  
 people wanted, Ms Mowlam told the TUC. 
                                        
 Tough new measures met the European    
 Convention on Human Rights, she added.
