Operators Camelot said the ticket dates from the lottery's Birthday draw on November 20 and was bought in Essex. It says the prize is the biggest unclaimed sum in the lottery's history. An appeal to players to check tickets from the draw is being launched in London and will include a Christmas lights display of the winning numbers.
