AMNESTY FOR MILLION S KOREAN PRISONERS South Korean President Kim Dae-Jung has announced that he will pardon one million criminals in a mammoth millennium amnesty.
Mr Kim said the measure would include full paroles, the lifting of probations and the easing or removing of administrative sanctions.
The amnesty includes two North Korean spies who had been sent to South Korea.
"I hope they will have new hope and progress in their future," he added.
