TIPS FOR VIEWING THE ECLIPSE SAFELY
Looking at the sun at any time is
potentially dangerous and can result in
serious eye damage or blindness.
Current advice from the Chief Medical
Officer is that the only totally safe
way to view the eclipse is indirectly.
DO NOT USE sunglasses, smoked glass,
CDs, floppy disk media, polarizing
filters, colour film or black and white
negatives bearing images.
All children should be closely
supervised while watching the eclipse.
