SOUTH WEST BRACES FOR FLOOD OF VISITORS
The South West is the best place in the
UK to view the eclipse as the path of
totality cuts right across Cornwall.
To cope with the huge influx of
visitors a special traffic control
centre is being set up.
People are advised only to travel to
the South West if they have already
booked accommodation.
They are being told to go earlier than
August 11 and leave the region as late
as possible to avoid the crush.
