 1993 On January 1st, Digitiser debuts  
 on ITV Teletext page 370. Billed as the
 "World's Only Daily Games Magazine",   
 we'd be lying if we said that initial  
 editions were anything but rubbish.    
                                        
 Our initial decision not to cover the  
 suffocating Amiga scene was deemed a   
 mistake, when we were deluged with     
 phone calls and letters from pillocks. 
 If only to keep our post bags free from
 anal retentives, we relented.          
                                        
 Our pants fell off when the first      
 viewing figures came in: an average of 
 600,000 citizens read Digitiser a week.
