JET HIJACKERS DROP £125m RANSOM DEMAND The hijackers of an Indian airliner have abandoned their demand for a £125m ransom, according to Indian negotiators
The 155 hostages aboard the jet have begun their sixth day of captivity with no sign that India will meet the hijackers' demand to free 35 militants.
The gang has also given up its demand for the exhumation of an Indian separatist killed earlier this year.
The Indian Airlines Airbus left Nepal on Friday and is now in Afghanistan.
