 revival, due to the arrival of some    
 decent software and a price cut.       
                                        
 Extra enthusiasm may also have been    
 generated by impressive footage showing
 the M2 accelerator's putative power.   
                                        
 But in case anyone missed the news, 3DO
 have sold the M2 tech to Matsushita,   
 who can now do what they like with it. 
                                        
 Prediction: The first M2s won't be 3DO 
 upgrades, but new standalone consoles. 
 3DO owners may be left in the cold.
