 confused about the legality of         
 emulators. The emulation software      
 itself (e.g. MAME) is not illegal. All 
 it does is mimic the behaviour of the  
 original hardware.                     
                                        
 Copyright is broken when you keep      
 copies of game ROMs on your PC.        
 However, this is about as punishable as
 taping a music CD.
