 Why do software companies insist on    
 link-up games instead of normal multi- 
 player games for new consoles?         
                                        
 Surely this is totally unrealistic for 
 the average spotty teenager? I can only
 see it benefiting magazines with plenty
 of consoles and monitors, and no       
 moaning parents.

 We totally agree. Until the need for   
 two machines and two copies of the game
 is eradicated, the appeal of link-up   
 games must surely be limited.
