 ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL WINS LOTTERY MONEY 
 A Lottery grant of £12m has been set   
 aside for the restoration of the Royal 
 Festival Hall on London's South Bank.  
                                        
 As well as work on the Grade I-listed  
 building, another £450,000 of Heritage 
 Fund money will go towards redeveloping
 the whole South Bank site.             
                                        
 Under the scheme, the arts complex will
 be changed beyond recognition, with the
 Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall  
 and Purcell Room being demolished and  
 rebuilt further west on the site.
