Some 70 Argentine citizens, mostly war veterans and journalists, were on board the flight from Chile.
The only Argentinians allowed to visit the islands since the 1982 conflict have been relatives of the war dead.
Chile had suspended flights to the Falklands in March in protest at the detention of General Pinochet in the UK
