 INQUIRY AFTER HIKERS UNCOVER BULLETS   
 An inquiry has been launched after     
 hikers from a public school discovered 
 2,000 rounds of blank ammunition.      
                                        
 The Ministry of Defence bullets were   
 found in six sealed packages near Loch 
 Maree, in Wester Ross, by an English   
 school group.                          
                                        
 An instructor in the walking group made
 the discovery.                         
                                        
 The MoD, which has permission to use   
 certain parts of Wester Ross, is       
 investigating how the bullets were left
 behind after manoeuvres.
