 Eastern parts of England will be rather
 cloudy at times, with patchy rain      
 persisting in the southeast. Elsewhere 
 dry with bright or sunny periods, but  
 rain reaching the far northwest of     
 Scotland late in the day.

 Patchy rain persisting in the extreme  
 southeast. Cloud, rain, and            
 strengthening winds spreading to many  
 northern parts. Elsewhere dry and      
 clear, with local frost and fog.
