 IRELAND AWAITS DRUGS REACTION          
 Irish rugby will deliver its public    
 response on Friday to allegations of   
 drug-taking from a former international
                                        
 Noel Murphy, president of the Irish    
 Rugby Football Union, is to host a news
 conference following damaging claims by
 second row forward Neil Francis.       
                                        
 Shortly before, the UK Sports Council  
 will publish its annual dope-testing   
 report which reveals positive findings 
 on two union players last season.      
                                        
 The tests are thought to be from games 
 in the European Cup or Conference.
