 BOYCOTT COST US DEAR: ANDREW           
 Newcastle chief Rob Andrew has admitted
 the English club's European boycott    
 cost his Premiership champions a       
 healthy summer bonus.                  
                                        
 But he said it did not account for poor
 recent results, including defeats      
 against Richmond and London Irish.     
                                        
 Andrew said: "Money for winning the    
 Championship was paid out.             
                                        
 "The second element was qualifying for 
 Europe, and the fact that the English  
 clubs boycotted Europe meant the cash  
 was simply not available."
