 ATHLETICS RITCHIE TAKES COACHING ROLE  
 The Scottish Athletics Federation has  
 appointed Meg Ritchie Stone as         
 performance and excellence manager.    
                                        
 The former Commonwealth champion       
 discuss thrower, who has been working  
 in the US, will assist Scotland's      
 leading athletes and coaches.          
                                        
 The 46-year-old will also develop the  
 talent of Scotland's youngsters.       
                                        
 She turned down the chance to become   
 Scottish coach seven years ago and is  
 currently track and field coach at     
 Appalachian State University.
