 FOOTBALL JEFFERIES PUTS CASE TO UEFA   
 Jim Jefferies is hopeful the club will 
 get at least a replay against Real     
 Mallorca when UEFA meet to discuss last
 week's Cup Winners' Cup debacle.       
                                        
 Hearts exited on a 2-1 aggregate score 
 after a 1-1 draw in Spain amid a row   
 over the size of the goalposts at      
 Real's ground.                         
                                        
 Boss Jefferies would accept a rematch  
 but is seeking even more from UEFA.    
                                        
 He said: "If Real Mallorca haven't got 
 a pitch suitable to play in European   
 competition they shouldn't be in it."
