MANDELSON OUTLINES UNION RELATIONSHIP Peter Mandelson has told the Trades Unions Congress that Government relations with the unions are good but "not too close for comfort".
The Trade and Industry Secretary told delegates at the Conference in Blackpool that he believed in unions.
But he said Labour and the unions should not be "in hock to one another".
Mr Mandelson also ruled out reports he had decided to sell off the Post Office and said a review was under way.
