 CZECH REPUBLIC A Chinese woman died of 
 heart failure while crossing a river in
 the south to reach Austria illegally,  
 the Czech news agency reported.        
                                        
 Austrian police said they detained     
 three Chinese and a Czech national.    
                                        
 AUSTRIA A talcum mine disaster in July 
 which killed 10 workers in Lassing may 
 have been caused by illegal mining, the
 economy minister told Austrian TV.     
                                        
 Geologists reported that an illegal    
 shaft found just under the collapsed   
 area might have caused the tragedy,    
 Minister Johannes Farnleitner said.
