YOUTH "SHOT DEAD BY ISRAELI CIVILIANS" Israeli civilians are reported to have opened fire on Palestinian stone throwers in the West Bank, killing one and wounding another.
The incident took place south-west of Ramallah, near the village of Betunia.
Witnesses said the Israelis opened fire on the group of teenagers from a passing car, using a pistol and a submachine gun.
Israeli police said they had received no complaint but were investigating.
