   Masks for Youngsters       **  **

 To mark the last Christmas of the      
 Millennium, IW youngsters are invited  
 to "do as the Romans did" and celebrate
 with a Saturnalia of mask-making at    
 Newport Roman Villa.                   
 IW Museums is giving children the      
 chance to become a mythical being for  
 an afternoon on Saturday, 18 Dec mber  
 by taking part in a Saturnalia         
 mask-making event at the villa in      
 Cypress Road.                          
 At this time some 2,000 years ago the  
 Romans celebrated Saturnalia by turning
 the world topsy-turvy. Masters swapped 
 places with their slaves and people    
 dressed up and pretended to be someone
