   Roadshows Give Island   ***********  
   A Voice                    **  **    
 ****************** **** ******   ******
 A unique series of roadshows will give 
 Islanders the chance to voice their    
 views on the future of the Island and  
 ultimately the Earth's environment.    
 The first of the nine "Island Voices"  
 roadshows come to town at Yarmouth, on 
 4 December, with other at venues around
 the Island between December and March  
 2000.  The aim of the roadshows is to  
 involve local communities in the       
 development of the Island's Agenda 21  
 Strategy.                              
 The roadshows follow the successful    
 launch of the Island Agenda 21 at      
 Newport in October, when over 300      
 people replied to questionnaires.
