PROSECUTORS SEEK PROBE INTO KOHL MONEY German prosecutors are to seek an investigation against former Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who is suspected of illegally accepting anonymous donations
The prosecutors have notified parliament to have Mr Kohl's immunity from prosecution lifted.
Parliament president Wolfgang Thierse must now consult political leaders to decide whether to block the probe.
Mr Kohl refuses to name the donors of about £620,000 to his party in 1993-98.
