As the hijacking crisis continues, the Italian daily La Stampa sees a ray of hope for the passengers.
The 155 hostages of the Indian plane grounded for two days at Kandahar airport are exhausted, but they have been able to face the fourth night with a little more hope, it says.
"The hijackers...allowed two doctors and a nurse to board the plane with medical supplies," the paper explains, adding "decisive negotiations" are now under way. 1/4 WORLD TODAY: Monday-Friday only World service: MW 648, SW 6.195
