Eight Germans died during an off-piste ski trek in the Jam valley near the resort of Galtuer.
In February, Galtuer was the scene of Austria's worst avalanche disaster in decades when a massive snow-slide hit the village, killing 31 people.
In a second incident, two skiers were killed and a second seriously injured in an avalanche near Vent.
