Since the return of the UK to British Summer Time (BST), some Videocassette Recorders which use Channel 1 to set their time and date have being showing incorrect dates. This has been traced to suspected problems with the equipment in regional centres which processes the time and date sent over the "PDC" datastream. Where possible, viewers should re- configure their VCRs to accept time and date from a non-BBC channel. If this is not possible, the VCR's date and time should be set to manual operation.
